Bus, flight or a private van to Bantayan?
Every way to Bantayan except a plane ends at Hagnaya Port and the same ferry. The bus is far cheaper for one or two people. For a family with suitcases, a van timed to the ferry is simpler.

The ferry to Santa Fe
Island Shipping and Super Shuttle Ferry cross from Hagnaya to Santa Fe in 1 to 1.5 hours, about ₱400 a person with the terminal fee, bought at the port. The September 2025 earthquake damaged the Hagnaya berth, and since March 2026 sailings pause around high tide, so the last usable boat moves day to day. Tell us your landing time and we plan the pickup around the tide.

About 3 hours by van to Hagnaya Port, from the airport (about 2 h 45 min) or a Cebu City hotel (about 2 h 55 min). Then 1 to 1.5 hours on the ferry to Santa Fe, plus the wait for a sailing. Allow 4.5 to 5 hours door to door.
It has a small airstrip, and charter flights from Cebu have run in the past, about 30 to 40 minutes. When we checked on 7 November 2026 they were suspended. The road and ferry run every day, so plan on them unless a flight is confirmed.

To catch a ferry the same day, plan to leave the airport by about midday. The tide can move the last sailing. Send us your flight time before you book: if the ferry is out of reach, a night in Cebu or the north and an early run is the calm plan.
