Bus, Grab or a private van to Moalboal?

Short stops are free: water, snacks, an ATM or a photo. Carcar is known for chicharon if you want a snack on the way. Longer stops, like lunch, are fine; we agree a small hourly rate first.

Take a Ceres bus signed Bato via Barili from Cebu South Bus Terminal. It costs about ₱200 to ₱240 a person and takes 3 to 4 hours to Moalboal town, then a tricycle to Panagsama. It suits one or two people with light bags. For 1 to 4 people we can also send an SUV, which costs less than the van.
Grab works well around Cebu City and Mactan, but few drivers take a 3 hour trip south and there is no meter price for it. If one does, agree the price first. A van booked before you fly has one price for the whole group and a driver waiting at arrivals.
